Easy-morning Oatmeal

In an 8-cup slow cooker stir together:
1 cup steel cut oats
1/4 cup (2 oz) brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, or to taste

Then add:
3 cups (24 oz) water
1-1/4 - 1-1/2 cups (12 - 14 oz) milk, depends how juicy your fruit is & how thick you like your oatmeal
~ 1 cup chopped fruit, we like apples or peaches, you can use dried fruit as well

Stir it a couple times, put the lid on and turn your slow cooker to low. Let it cook overnight. In the morning, give it a stir and serve. Our kids like it with milk to cool it down. I prefer it with a spoonful of vanilla yogurt. Enjoy!
